You can’t open the game if you’re using windows 8.1. Is there anything being done about it? It seems like this should be urgent since it’s literally preventing a whole group of players from even logging on.

External link →Sorry about this btw, we updated the way we sign our executables and it didn't play nicely with Windows 8/8.1. We reverted back to the old signing method for this patch.
We did just miss this in our test plan for the changes. We had tested both Win7 (minspec) / Win10 (highspec) but we didn't test these changes on Win8 machines. We've made sure that's been added to the future test sweeps for signing changes. Apologies for the inconvenience we hopped on it right away after players started reporting. Thanks for all the reports.
