Greetings Agents!

With the Beta starting today it's expected that bug will happen. To avoid those issues cluttering the subreddit we will get a single Megathread which will be posted today and after every patch so that you guys can report the various issues in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered.

Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug


  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.

Format when reporting a bug: When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your computer.

Region: The region you're playing in when you encountered the bug

Type of Bug: Client Bug, In Game Bug etc

Description: Describe what was the bug that occurred.

Video / Screenshot: Insert screenshot (F12 in game) or Video of the bug occurring.

Steps to reproduce: Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.

Expected result: What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above.

Observed result: What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?

Reproduction rate: If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10 : Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10 : Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10 : Happens every single time)

System specs: Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers.


Example Bug:

Region: EU

Type of Bug: Matchmaking

Description: Matchmaking doesn't work properly

• Insert Video / Screenshot of the incident

Reproduction rate: 10/10 (happened 10 out of 10 times)

Steps to reproduce: Try to launch a game

Expected result: Match starting

Observed result: Getting stuck in infinite queue

System Specs: Intel i5 Processor, Windows 7, Nvidia Graphics card (insert model number) etc.

Yeah it's because vanguard doesn't like an unsigned dll from the Samsung printer driver. Uninstalling your printer driver should fix it. Easily the weirdest bug we've had yet.

Thanks for reporting this -- We are investigating this with PayPal to see why the reCAPTCHA is having issues for some users. Sorry for any inconvenience there!

Thanks for reporting this -- We're working with PayPal right now to figure out why the reCAPTCHA is having problems for some users in game. Sorry for the inconvenience!

You will need to put in a ticket with player support to resolve. Was your account ever from the EU and then transferred to NA?

Reproduction rate: We haven't tried it again due to fear of abusing it and getting banned, but when we did this before it should just log the person out of the game which for some reason it didn't do in this scenario. When it happened our friend just said his game "freaked" out and didn't kick him out.

Steps to reproduce: The steps were really just have a friend not playing join a friend's game by logging into their account. We tried this earlier because it logged our friend out of his game and we just play off of him, but this time he wasn't kicked out.

Expected result: The person that was on the account in the game should just get logged out and the person logging in should play in their place. Not just let both of them stay.

Observed result: We just had an extra player in our game that allowed a 6-player team.

System Specs: I didn't perform the trick, but the specs shouldn't matter in this scenario because it seems like just a gameplay/server bug.

The closest I've gotten is when I uninstalled all 3, I only installed LoL first, it got to the launcher. There was a button on the bottom left saying to update the Riot Client itself. After that the issue resumed.

In addition, the install path of the games only contains a folder called Riot Client. That means the games didn't even begin to install, despite running the installers.

The workaround here was to not install to a drive mounted as a folder. We dont support this yet.

You can mute them via the social panel (the friends lift that attaches to the right side of the screen). Just right click the user and you can adjust their volume.

The party leader can also just kick the player from the same right click context menu in the social panel to save everyone from their trolling too!

Just wanted to follow up here to say that while we investigate this issue, we've implemented a quick fix here to allow you to complete PayPal transactions by opening that flow in a pop-up that opens in your default internet browser outside of the game. Transactions can be completed there and your currency in game will be updated accordingly.

A. Please do not flame riot support. I understand you're frustrated, but it's just rude.

B. We're working on ways to better identify if there's a problematic driver/program on your machine. If you are tired of trying these steps, please just wait and hopefully a future update will help!
