Howdy yall, been participating in premier this season for the first time and was curious how they make the playoff brackets? I know it's 8 team brackets and you needed 600 points to qualify, but how do they break down the seeds after that? Is it as simple as 1-8, 9-16, 17-24 and so on?
External link →It's a snake seeding algorithm. Count the number of teams in queue, divide by 8, round up. Those are how many tournaments. Then first place on the leaderboard is first seed in the first tournament, second place is first seed in the second tournament. Once we get to the max number of tournament we snake back. Your standing during the regular season gives you more favorable tournaments.
