[2020] Community Challenge Update

The Community Challenge is still ongoing and you can still join - it will be running until April 30th. With this challenge we wish to invite you as a community to come together and help the Reikland.

So far your combined efforts have accumulated a staggering total 155,947,217 enemies defeated! It's horribly impressive.

We just set the Tzeentchian Twins Weekly Event live, which for those who can handle it is a great way to bloat the stats! In this event enemies you dispatch will materialise in to two lesser enemies, and so on, until you're left with chaff to kill. You can find this on the mission screeen in the Keep (press M).

Play Apart Together. Fill the bar by defeating Skaven, Rotblood, and Beastmen in Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and be rewarded with a new portrait frame.

Crown of Purity We recently updated the event page on our website with news of which charity the proceeds for all sales of the 'Crown of Purity' will be donated to, and you can find out more about that here:

Hey Valley Villagers!
Community Manager Rachel here to drop you a quick update on the Community Challenge. While we aren’t unlocking any goals today, I wanted to share that our team is so excited about the passion you’ve expressed by unlocking the first two goals.

We’re currently less than 4k followers away from unlocking the last Follower Goal, and we’re sitting a little bit shy of the second Wishlist Goal. That said, we still have plenty of time until the release of Early Access, and I’m confident we’ll unlock both remaining goals.



Even though I don’t have news about a new goal being unlocked, I am SO EXCITED to share news about a previous unlocked goal – the Heroic Clothing Set! While it may be some time before I can share more on the 3D version, today I’m revealing the completed concept art:



We hope you love it! This armor set will be available for all body types in-game. I personally can’t wait to see what adventures everyone gets up to as a Dreamlight Valley Knight.

Hey Valley Villagers!
Last week was a huge week for Disney Dreamlight Valley – not only did we announce Founder’s Pack editions and pre-orders opened on some platforms, but we also launched the Avatar Designer Tool. At 37k selfies and counting, our team has been fueled by the creativity of our fans, and we cannot wait for you to have access to the full game on September 6th.

What’s more is the explosion of wishlists and followers on our social accounts! We are happy to announce that as of today, we are able to unlock two more goals of the Community Challenge:

• 35k Instagram + Twitter followers collectively: We’ll create and gift an iconic Disney Dreamlight Valley Partner’s Statue to all players.
  
• 200k total wishlists across all platforms: We’ll add a variety of Villager Skins so you can dress up your Valley Villagers.

We’ve already shared a sneak peek at the Heroic Armor Clothing that was unlocked with one of our previous goals, and our team will get started on concept art for the Disney Dreamlight Valley Partner’s Statue. We hope that we’ll be able to share this with you soon!

As for our unlocked wishlisting goal, we’re now committed to bringing Villager Skins to Disney Dreamlight Valley – all thanks to you! With our Early Access launch around the corner, it is worth noting once again that we are currently focused on core gameplay features, and these bonus features and items will be included later in the Early Access period and after the game officially launches in free-to-play.

With that, there is only one more goal to unlock! With pre-orders open on some platforms, we will also be including those numbers towards our final wishlisting goal. We are so close to unlocking Multiplayer Valley Visits together – will we be able to unlock this goal by September 6th?
