The mods asked for lore, and you guys answered...in droves!
Before we get into the winners, I want to say this contest proved to be way more popular than expected with the subreddit submitting 33 entries for a combined total of 40,856 words (or ~91 pages). Holy Sigmar!
Some notes on judging
Entries were given a +100 word leeway on the 1,500 word limit, and were judged based on grammar, flow, general writing mechanics, and interpretation on Vermintide and Warhammer Fantasy "flavor." Author's notes were not included in the word count.
This was not an easy contest to judge, and there was much mulling over multiple entries on who would place where. Clearly, this subreddit has some serious writing chops!
So without further ado, may we announce the winners of the first VerminLore Crafting Contest!
