[2019] Untrusted state?

If you got untrusted state with the 1.0.5.1 it's one of the file integrity checks that are failing so one of your files is likely corrupt, old or missing.

What happens when you get kicked, do you get any error popups or a panel in the top right of the HUD?

If not I would be very interested in one of your logs from %appdata%/Fatshark/Vermintide2/console_logs from a session where this happened.

Pretty much the same for me! Happens either at a random point in a matchmade game or right in the lobby when inviting friends.

The error Zen was getting should be resolved by just verifying files in steam. Does that fix it for you? What file are you getting?

Since that patch, every game I run first after a long hiatus (first match of the day, after lunch, etc) ALWAYS kicks me out 1/2-3/4 of the way through the map. After that, the game goes from a consistant 100+ fps to anywhere between 120 and 30 fps for the next map or two.

Their update royally f***ed something up with the anticheat. It seems to think that I run into cheaters on my first game 100% of the time and only in that one game 100% of the time.

You always kicked out the first time but after that you can play without ending up in the untrusted state? Or does the problem persist?

Thanks, Varivox. I went ahead and deleted all of my local game files last night and let the game re-download overnight. I tried to get in a quick game before work this morning, and of course I was booted again after a few minutes because it apparently thought I was cheating.

Do you have any idea of the scope of this issue/number of people it is impacting? If I'm in a minority of people this is happening to, I'm afraid it will not be fixed and I should pursue a refund from Steam even though this was my favorite game I've played in a long time. They've effectively made it so that I can't play it anymore. :(

Exactly what does you error say?

Do you have a panel in the top right after you get the issue giving you any error info?
