Army of the Dead makes it so when you use your ability, it spawns 12 skeletons. 6 are permanent, 6 are temporary.

If you use it again, the 6 permanent ones die and you summon 12 new ones, but the 6 temporary ones stay, meaning you are now at 18. Use it again before the original 6 expire, and you get to 24. It otherwise works exactly the same and basically takes 1 less use of a career skill to complete the challenge than before.
