In 1952, 69 years ago, the T54E1 first appeared. The T54E1 was the second of the T54 prototype family and was equipped with an oscillating turret and autoloading mechanism similar to those seen on French tanks of the period. @KunoSchacht It was not bad but it was not good enough, so they decided to keep using the tank they had and focus on the T95 program (who became the M60 later on)

The Re.2002 flew for the first time 81 years ago. Agile and sturdy, it was the best fighter-bomber Italy had during WWII. The Mitsubishi Ki-109 "Army Heavy Fighter Interceptor" made its first flight 79 years ago. Originally a modified Ki-67-I, the Ki-109 featured a 75 mm tank cannon in the nose and 1 x 12.7 mm gun in the turret. 24 Ki-109's were built, however didn't see combat. http://pbs.twimg.com/media/FmSfsrMXkBAHKl-.jpg
