If anyone who you invited to the game (via referral link) purchase any vehicle on rank VII (or rank V in navy) you will automatically get 2500 GE.

If you will contact our support via ticket ( https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us - log in, send ticket) and ask, they will check for you if you got it via this program (I guess it's this).

Still, even if this answer fits you and you think "oh well, maybe I give such link to someone and that's why I got 2500GE", please take few minutes and send ticket.

There are rare case when someone is trying to send gift to friend, type wrong login and send it to some random player. It's always better to double check any "random" GE with support.

PS. If it was not long ago, you can check ECONOMY tab in game. AFAIK there should be info on such event.
