War Thunder is MMO. Not a tabeltop game for friends.
Here, majority of players wants to play best and strongest side. They are not interested that they would be able to spawn in T-34 (1942) two or three times, when they can switch side and play as Tiger.
We tried different approaches for years, and as said in Q&A, even when statistically we manage to achieve fair and balanced environment for both sides, one was always upset and feel "cheated". Because that T-34 needs to die few times, person who played it, felt like he have no chances.
Sadly something, that can be explained to friends before few hours session, is hard to explain to someone, who simply want to sit down and play for few minutes.
TL;DR something that fits for complicated and longer sessions, do not fits to dynamic, online game.
