does the rank i play in effect research points?

thats not what i mean i already knew that, if i grind rank 8 with rank 7 tanks will i get less reseach points then grinding rank 8 tanks with rank 8 tanks?

Rank 7 vehicles typically have less RP multipliers than Rank 8 vehicles, so in that sense it would be less yes.
