Since its founding on July 1st 1926, the Swedish Air Force has been involved in very few conflicts. One squadron of volunteers came to the aid of Finland in the Soviet-Finnish war, but in WWII Sweden remained neutral. Officially, the Swedish Air Force took part in battles only during the Congolese crisis in 1961-1964, and in 2011 they patrolled the skies over Libya.

The J29D and J35A are temporarily available for Golden Eagles! These two Swedish jet fighters are temporarily returning to sale for Golden Eagles for 8,910 and 9,090 each respectively.

  • The J29D Tunnan[wiki.warthunder.com] is a prototype created in 1952 based on the J29A, armed with 4 x 30 mm cannons. It’s very fast and versatile, and depending on the choice of weapons, it’s suitable for any role, be it attack or interception.
  • The J35A Draken[wiki.warthunder.com] is an extremely maneuverable and fast-climbing fighter, armed with 2 x 30 mm cannons. This aircraft is also capable of carrying 4 x RB24 air-to-air missiles and m/56D rockets!
