83 years ago, the Panzer III E appeared for the first time. The E variant was the first mass produced variant of the Pz III - which was only 96. The prototype of the T17E2 appeared for the first time 80 years ago. The vehicle was an anti-air conversion of the T17E1 using a twin .50 cal turret originally designed for motor torpedo boats.
