59 years ago, the first F-4C Phantom IIs were delivered to the US Air Force. The Phantom became a legend for its service in the US campaign in Vietnam. The British de Haviland Vampire fighter was purchased by Sweden in 1946. Three years later, the newer FB.50 version would also be bought and given the designation "A28B" or "J28B" depending on suspended armaments.
