In 1942, 79 years ago, the Dornier Do 217 N-1 made its first flight. The N-1 was a night fighter variant with its bomb bay removed, which was used against the RAF whilst they carried out night bombing operations. Production of the AMR.35 ZT3 began in 1937. The AMR.35 was the faster and more maneuverable successor of the M.33 tank, and the ZT3 subvariant was equipped with a 25 mm anti-tank cannon.
