[2022] why do some versions of almost identical planes have huge economy wise diffrence ingame

Aircraft cost (purchase price) depends on place in tech tree (in relation to other machines in it).

French version is top tier in it's branch (last aircraft to unlock), which makes it more expensive than American one. If/When more machines appear after French version, price will be re-calculated.
