Hi. You are able to click on each vehicle and go to our wiki about each vehicle. On the wiki, it contains every single vehicle, information about it and also a historical segment for the vast majority of vehicles. Example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/Fw_190_A-1

You can also hover over any vehicle, even if you don't own it, to look at its stat card, weapons, and click to the modification window to see what weapons it can carry.

You can't test fly every plane; you can only test fly planes that you either own or are researching. You can test fly every premium though.

That sucks that you cannot test fly. But thanks for the wiki, I may just look at the wiki then instead of actually playing the game.

Can you view what a vehicle looks like, even if you do not "own" it?

Yes, you're able to click on any vehicle and "preview" it to see how it looks in your hangar.
