why is LA-5FN is this expensive?

Hi, this is a legacy aircraft from the beta before Update 1.27. Its price is from the old format and hasn't been updated.

This explanation makes literally no sense at all...so by your logic, the I-16 Type 28 (1350GE) should also be 5250GE? It was also in the game prior to update 1.27...or the USSR premium P-39K-1 (1000GE), or the P-63A-5 (which is also rank III, and it's 1600GE)...all these were ingame before 1.27...the LA-5FN was removed in 2021 and it's price wasn't 5250GE at the time, it was 1500GE. next time come up with better excuses for greed of your employers.

Hi, as I've said, when the German La-5FN was added at the time the game was vastly different, there were less premiums and the price has always been 5,250 GE ever since it was added. This price has stuck with it through all these years.

You can see here it was removed in July 2021 from being purchased, where it didn't have any price reduction.
