77 years ago, the Bristol Brigand flew for the first time. The Brigand was developed to replace the Beaufighter, and first saw combat in Malaya in 1949. 80 years ago, deliveries of the Matilda II arrived in the USSR. Under the Lend-Lease program, the Red Army received 1/3 of the total Matilda tanks produced.
