Why are event times so confusing?

11:00 GMT is 5:00 where I am, so it don't add up.

Why can't you translate what time an event starts without making players do wrong math that don't add up?

The announcement base time is 11:00 GMT, which changes in-game for players in other regions automatically. A 1hr difference may be due to some daylight saving time or the converter we use.

If you'd like you can let me know your time zone (add and PM me if you want, to keep it private) so I can ask the team to take a further look at what may be the problem.
