[2022] In Ground AB, why aren't base captures tracked on player card?

Well, there is a reward - you get RP, SL and activity point (which counts towards overall reward you get in battle), if you capture more than one cap, you will also get bonus (Capture streak). I do not see what else you would like to get, what kind of reward?
