78 years ago, what became the T18E2 first appeared. Built by the US to supply Britain, the E2 was the production version of the T18 heavy armored car. In May 1943, 79 years ago, the Macchi C.202EC made its first flight. The EC variant of the C.202 featured two 20 mm cannons that previous variants did not have. In May, 79 years ago, the D4Y3 Ko first appeared. The D4Y3 was a land-based conversion of the D4Y dive bomber that had its tail hook removed.
