Previously, we invited you into a discussion concerning potential BR range changes in air SB sessions. Now, it’s time to vote how these changes will be implemented.

First, let us tell you a little more about this mechanic - judging by your feedback, not everyone fully understands the essence of the proposal.

Currently, sessions are divided into 7 fixed BR ranges: 1.0 - 2.0, 2.3 - 3.3, 3.7 - 4.7, 5.0 - 6.3, 6.7 - 7.7, 8.0 - 9.3, 9.7 - 11.0. At the same time, to play in each of the indicated ranges, you must have at least one aircraft from this range, but you can also use any aircraft with a BR below the minimum. We do not plan to abandon this mechanic - in the case of BR range rotation, the aircraft with BR lower than the minimum can still be used in the session.

Additionally, now aircraft with a minimum BR in the range are practically unclaimed, because they are often much inferior to potential opponents. This is a very large layer of aircraft with BR, for example, 5.0 - 5.3 and 8.0 - 8.3, and we want to make them relevant for some part of the time (one or several rotation cycles of the sets of BR sessions).

We are considering two variants: rotation of three or four sets of BR ranges.

Three sets of ranges are:

1.0 — 2.3, 2.7 — 3.7, 4.0 — 5.0, 5.3 — 6.3, 6.7 — 7.7, 8.0 — 9.0, 9.3 — 10.3, 10.7 — 11.0.

1.0 — 2.0, 2.3 — 3.3, 3.7 — 4.7, 5.0 — 6.0, 6.3 — 7.3, 7.7 — 8.7, 9.0 — 10.0, 10.3 —11.0.

1.0 — 1.7, 2.0 — 3.0, 3.3 — 4.3, 4.7 — 5.7, 6.0 — 7.0, 7.3 — 8.3, 8.7 — 9.7, 10.0 — 11.0.

Four sets of ranges are:

1.0 — 2.3, 2.7 — 3.7, 4.0 — 5.0, 5.3 — 6.3, 6.7 — 7.7, 8.0 — 9.0, 9.3 — 10.3, 10.7 — 11.0.

1.0 — 2.0, 2.3 — 3.3, 3.7 — 4.7, 5.0 — 6.0, 6.3 — 7.3, 7.7 — 8.7, 9.0 — 10.0, 10.3 —11.0.

1.0 — 1.7, 2.0 — 3.0, 3.3 — 4.3, 4.7 — 5.7, 6.0 — 7.0, 7.3 — 8.3, 8.7 — 9.7, 10.0 — 11.0.

1.0 — 2.0, 2.3 — 2.7, 3.0 — 4.0, 4.3 — 5.3, 5.7 — 6.7, 7.0 — 8.0, 8.3 — 9.3, 9.7 — 11.0.

These sets are to be consequently rotated in certain time periods (the poll will decide what they would be).

Thus, for example, in the three sets variant, an aircraft with a BR 8.0 will consequently be matched in ranges 8.0 — 9.0, 7.7 — 8.7, and 7.3 — 8.3 depending on the current day and/or week. This means that the maximum BR of the enemy team will change and won’t be equal to a maximum of 9.3, as it happens now.

As for the rotation period, we have read your feedback and propose three compromising variants: rotation in 2, 4, or 7 days.

For example, in the case of BR ranges rotation every 2 days, a November schedule would look like:

1 — 2 November: 1.0 — 2.3, 2.7 — 3.7, 4.0 — 5.0, 5.3 — 6.3, 6.7 — 7.7, 8.0 — 9.0, 9.3 — 10.3, 10.7 — 11.0.

3 — 4 November: 1.0 — 2.0, 2.3 — 3.3, 3.7 — 4.7, 5.0 — 6.0, 6.3 — 7.3, 7.7 — 8.7, 9.0 — 10.0, 10.3 —11.0.

5 — 6 November: 1.0 — 1.7, 2.0 — 3.0, 3.3 — 4.3, 4.7 — 5.7, 6.0 — 7.0, 7.3 — 8.3, 8.7 — 9.7, 10.0 — 11.0.

7 — 8 November: 1.0 — 2.3, 2.7 — 3.7, 4.0 — 5.0, 5.3 — 6.3, 6.7 — 7.7, 8.0 — 9.0, 9.3 — 10.3, 10.7 — 11.0.

9 — 10 November: 1.0 — 2.0, 2.3 — 3.3, 3.7 — 4.7, 5.0 — 6.0, 6.3 — 7.3, 7.7 — 8.7, 9.0 — 10.0, 10.3 —11.0.

11 — 12 November: 1.0 — 1.7, 2.0 — 3.0, 3.3 — 4.3, 4.7 — 5.7, 6.0 — 7.0, 7.3 — 8.3, 8.7 — 9.7, 10.0 — 11.0.

…etc.
