Italy was the first country to use aircraft in combat, which occurred in 1911 during the Italo-Turkish War. Despite this, an official separate air force was created on March 28th 1923. During World War II, the Italian Air Force had more than 3,000 aircraft that took part in combat operations in North Africa, the USSR and Italy itself. The modern Italian Air Force comprises of more than 500 aircraft, almost 100 of which are Eurofighter Typhoons.

When: From March 28th (11:00 GMT) until March 31st (07:00 GMT).
Task: Play 3 battles using Italian aircraft at rank III or higher to receive the “Italian Air Force badge” decal! 

Additional details:

• You must use a minimum of rank III.
  
• Your activity must not be below 70%.
  
• You can complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions, [Assault] mode and Helicopter PVE battles.
  
• Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → Italian Air Force Day.
  
• You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customization menu.
