83 years ago, the first pre-production M.S.406 had its maiden flight. It was France's most numerous fighter and 2nd most built aircraft of WWII. The Ju 88 A-4 production started in 1940. Unlike its predecessors, it had a larger wingspan, improved defensive armament, new engines, and a reinforced undercarriage.
