[2020] First Impressions

Breakout.

I've put a few hours into this game already. At its core, it is fun, very fun. The way the game feels is good. It does give me CS vibes and that's what makes me enjoy it. The competitive feel.

HOWEVER... It's broken. Big time. The hit registration is awful. You can lace someone with an entire mag, die, and the post death stats tell you you hit them twice for 35 damage. A lot of deaths have me going, "was that actually my fault?" Which isn't good. I'm not saying I'm an incredible player, but there are situations where the game screws me over.

The lag is awful, as soon as you enter some gunfights, there is a freeze. Most of the time resulting in death. It's frustrating.

I UNDERSTAND it has just been released and needs some love. But maybe instead of paying all of these big YouTubers (JackFrags, PEWDIEPIE, Vanoss etc) to advertise their game, the Devs could have put more time and money into testing and fixing before release. Not just release, charged released. £20 for the game. Isn't much, but with all of the issues, I feel a bit dumb buying it.

I hope these issues are addressed soon. I feel like I have already adjusted my playstyle to counteract the games issues. But still, it would be nice to see the issues addressed sooner rather than later as I am enjoying it and can see it going a long way.
