[2019] Nintendo Switch Decorating Bug

Hey Nintenno,

We're aware of a bug that affects Dojo and Orbiter decorating. This bug primarily affects the way controls are listed, but some of you might also have noticed that decorating controls don't work for you at all. Resetting your controls will resolve this issue so you can still decorate! Go to Options > Controls > Defaults (Y)

Our Nintendo Switch team is investigating. In the meantime, here is a list of decorating controls you can use to keep customizing!

• Move decoration: Y
• Remove decoration: Hover over object + ZL
• Constrained Movement: Hover over object + Gamepad Left
  • Move X: Gamepad Up and Down + Right Joystick
  • Move Y: X + Right Joystick
  • Move Z: ZR + Right Joystick
  • Rotate: ZL + Right Joystick
  • Cycle Grid Snapping: Gamepad Left and Right + Right Joystick
• Duplicate: Hover over object + X
• Place decoration: Press Right Joystick + Y
• Ascend/Descent: L
• Rotate: Hold ZL + Right Joystick
• Billboard Facing: R
• Push/Pull: ZR
• Hold to Scale: Gamepad Left
• Scale Up/Down: Gamepad Up and Down
• Placement: Surface Snapping: X
• Cycle Grid Snapping:X
• Confirm: Y
• Cancel/Exit: A

EDIT: This worked for the dojo but not the orbiter

We have fixed this bug with our latest update! You should have no more trouble with controls when decorating your Dojo and Orbiter
