The showrooms took a lot of effort to get 'coming in hot' assets pushed to our all platforms at the same time! @jacquesranger Oh you're probably ahead of my knowledge on this - this is homebrew convolution reverb DSP processing done in frequency domain using stereo impulse responses captured in real spaces.

@JoeNokers IMHO, not a ton out of the gate - but overall, some reduction in CPU cost of rendering as it matures.

@ApexMandalorian @BrendsonVII Both are very cool :) - sadly DX12 gets us more bang for our development time ATM (hitting 2 of our platforms at once)... we def have Vulkan fans on the dev team though...

@jacquesranger Yeah we use this to verify but since its game engine... you can't VST it up like you can in DAW space...

@FurbyOnSteroid ? Worry you're buying into some kind of imagined benefit? In the end, you're translating intention to a hardware layer that only sorta/kinda/barely resembles the chosen API in these cases. The cake is a bit of a lie if I'm honest.

@grambo1980 I'm excited for generalized ambisonics and hardware that can do fast convolutions (with fast time<->frequency domain transforms). But I'm always hoping for just general compute power to rise so we can spend a core on stuff already known/possible (ray tracing sound paths)...

@FurbyOnSteroid Right so their console builds gain nothing but I guess PC gets... Linux support? Is that what you mean?

Maybe too early to tell but the experimental multiplayer fix for some regions (Egypt) seems to have worked? Sorry it took so long...

(Consoles will need cert pass - PC only atm)
