PSA: Steam Input Non-Functional in Snowday Showdown

Hey Tenno, 

We found an issue that causes controls on Steam Deck/Steam Input to not work in Snowday Showdown missions. Unfortunately, because Hotfixing is paused while we work on Warframe: 1999, we are unable to fix the issue until the update launches this year. As a temporary workaround, you can disable Steam Input manually in order to play the event. 

Workaround For Players Using Steam Input: 

1. If you have Steam Input enabled you can manually disable it as a temporary workaround to get into the snowball tossing showdown! Here’s how:
2. Right click Warframe in Steam and click “Properties”
3. Click the “Controller” tab in the left column
4. Click on the dropdown next to “Override for Warframe”
5. Set to “Disable Steam Input” 
6. Close all Steam processes using Task Manager 
7. Launch Warframe

Unfortunately, we have not found a workaround for Steam Deck at this time. We will update this thread if we do find a way to enable input for Snowday Showdown on Steam Deck.
