Warframe for Mobile was conceived and developed as another way to play the full game. It is the entire, interconnected experience on Android phones and tablets, with optional Cross Platform Save and Cross Platform Play between all other platforms.

How do I Pre-register for Warframe on Android?

Visit this link while on your Android device, or simply search “Warframe” on the Google Play Store.

What does Pre-registration mean?

Pre-registering Warframe on the Google Play Store allows you to be notified once the game becomes available! You can also enable or disable automatic install for when it it is available to download.

How much of the Warframe experience will be available on Android?

Warframe on Mobile is the entire, interconnected Warframe experience with optional Cross Platform Play and Cross Platform Save with all other platforms. Players will have access to all of the same gameplay and story content, including our upcoming Warframe: 1999 update.

What devices will be supported?

We will share a supported device / minimum specs list closer to the release of Warframe on Android.

Will Android update simultaneously with other Platforms?

Yes! Updates to Warframe arrive on all platforms at the same time. This will include Android as well.

Will Warframe on Android be Cross Platform Save Compatible?

Yes. Upon creating an account on Android, you’ll be able to visit the Account Management page on Warframe.com to link your fresh account to your existing Cross Platform Save account.

If you currently have eligible Warframe accounts on different platforms that you would like to Merge, be sure to do so before Cross Platform Save Merging retires on January 17, 2025!

What controller options will be available?

Warframe can be played on mobile devices via touch controls, as well as various gamepads. Players can use Bluetooth gamepads such as Playstation and Xbox game controllers, as well as Micro USB USB-C connected controllers.

Can I use a keyboard and mouse?

Keyboard and Mouse support on mobile devices is not available on mobile at this time.

Are there additional accessibility and customization features for playing Warframe on Mobile?

Yes! The Mobile version of Warframe features automations such as aim assist options and automated shooting and melee that can be toggled to suit any preferences.

The Mobile version of Warframe also features a sensor ring to assist with nearby enemy and item awareness on relatively smaller screens. 

Warframe on Mobile also allows for touch screen control customization, letting players arrange their HUD to suit their specific play styles and preferences.

What is happening to the Warframe Companion App?

The Warframe Companion App will remain on the Google Play Store, and will likewise continue functioning as normal!

Can I test Warframe on Android before it releases?

If you are interested in testing Warframe on Android, opt in with your Warframe account and device information for a chance to join an upcoming Closed Beta. You can opt in here.

When is Warframe launching on Android? When can I get more information?

With so many Android devices on the market featuring varying power, screen sizes, memory capacity and more, there is much to consider and test!

While we do not have a release date to share at this moment, stay tuned to Warframe Devstreams for the latest Warframe news!

Pre-registering on the Google Play Store will also provide you with a notification when Warframe becomes available on Android!

Note that this FAQ may be updated as we continue down the Android development process.

We're aware of a recaptcha issue affecting the beta opt-in section of the Android pre-registration page. We are temporarily removing the ability to opt into beta testing while the team investigates.

In the meantime, you can still pre-register for Warframe on Android as normal.
 

We're also investigating the issue with region rejections related to the opt-in.

Hopefully we'll get minimum and required phone specs soon cause I want to play the game on my phone too ASAP pretty please. I'm using a Vivo Y03 model cellphone it can run all content of CoD Mobile on it just fine.

 

Hi Tenno! We are investigating some issues with the Android Closed Beta Opt-In link. 

Please note, however: as with our iOS Closed Beta in 2023, the compatible devices and accepted regions for the closed beta are not necessarily indicative of the compatible devices and accepted regions for a global 1.0 release. We will have compatible devices and regions available closer to launch. Thank you!

In terms of the pre-registration bonus, there's no problem with using a different Google account than what you use for Warframe! The bonus is a week one login bonus that will become available at launch. It is not something that Tenno are redeeming and accessing via Cross Platform Save today or anything. :)
