I understand this is a rather isolated issue but I know for a fact that I've seen other people complaining about this in the forums and in comments around the subreddit.
We're forced to resort to region chat and discord. Every time you ask for help, you get told how old blood works/where you're supposed to go and what requirements you need to have them.
WE KNOW! Our game is bugged and isn't spawning Larvlings.
When I first noticed this last week, I spent about 6 hours playing solo over the course of 2 days with nothing. I dig deep on the forums to find people replying to threads having the same problems. After learning this, I get an alliance mate to help me and IMMEDIATELY we get a Larvling.
Now, I'm usually what people here on the sub refer to as one of your loyal White Knights. However, for the first time ever, I found myself frustrated with the game. To the point where I didn't even want to play it.
So over the course of the week, I've done a couple Lichs, but my heart really wasn't in it.
I was hopeful today when I saw that a hotfix had gone through with one of the patch notes saying
Fixed an issue where Larvling spawns were not working 100% of the time.
I decided to record my experience finally.... I haven't gone back to recount as I was watching the dev stream and now I'm heading to bed, but I think I did 13 runs without even a flicker of lights. After pestering in region chat, recruit chat, and then multiple discord servers, I finally got help.
I IMMEDIATELY got a spawn.
NOTE: This video is over an hour long, and I paused @ ~1:14:07 when I was looking for help because it was taking a while off screen and I forgot to unpause it right away once I found help. I quickly scroll through my chat tabs if you wish to pause and confirm continuity.
This... needs to be fixed!!!
I spent a long period of time completely in the dark when this was first happening, and now I get treated like I've never played the game before when I ask for help because people think I'm just lazy.
I'm literally that person who doesn't think RNG is the problem, and please, reddit, don't let your attention on this post be skewed by my saying that. I'm just trying to emphasize that I'm not crazy, I know what the requirements are, I'm MR27, and I can't get Larvlings to spawn!
At the time of posting, the video is still optimizing and I apologize for poor quality.
Hopefully, Thanks for your guys attention, DE. I know there's a lot that gets thrown your way every day from multiple angles. But please keep an eye out for isolated game breaking bugs as well as the greater community's desire for change.
