| 893s | recent update for you all uh it's been a |
| 896s | week it's been literally a week yeah we |
| 897s | released it Wednesday of last week yeah |
| 899s | eight days that seven crimes has been |
| 901s | out uh seven crimes you might be |
| 903s | participating in the clairvo's hold |
| 906s | event node and I know there's kind of |
| 908s | been within the community just questions |
| 910s | as to why perhaps we did an event node |
| 914s | like that why it's limited time why is |
| 916s | only available in certain moods |
| 918s | can we speak to that yeah basically the |
| 921s | so the way the weary works the there's |
| 924s | like main island and then there's |
| 926s | certain islands that appear on and off |
| 928s | depending on the moon and we literally |
| 930s | cannot put more because memory |
| 931s | constraints that we're literally at the |
| 933s | limit yeah like yeah some of the |
| 935s | original specs had like five signature |
| 937s | Islands then it's like okay but we need |
| 939s | to ship this and not everyone has |
| 942s | infinite powerful machines so we had to |
| 945s | curate the moods and part of that |
| 947s | curation was theme so a dungeon Island |
| 950s | you know the prison Island thematically |
| 952s | doesn't fit with happy in my opinion |
| 955s | yeah we never really wanted to have it |
| 957s | in all we always intended it to be like |
| 960s | part yeah but we felt that if we |
| 962s | released it uh on the first week and it |
| 966s | was kind of iron G for you when it was |
| 968s | on or it was off it was going to be |
| 970s | really frustrating for players so |
| 971s | because of that we added this event note |
| 974s | so that for the first couple of weeks |
| 975s | basically everyone could do it whenever |
| 977s | they wanted to Gary |
| 979s | yeah like two weeks of calervo's hold |
| 983s | and then now it's sort of tied to three |
| 985s | of the five moods so it can appear in |
| 986s | fear anger and sorrow so three of the |
| 990s | five mutes have it and I think if I |
| 992s | recall uh there is some consternation |
| 994s | about we did say we didn't want to tie |
| 996s | gameplay behind we moved we wanted it to |
| 998s | just be flavor and the reality is that |
| 1001s | was our intention and as this was coming |
| 1003s | together it just is now a change from |
| 1006s | that original plan so I did because I |
| 1009s | really wanted that and then I started to |
| 1011s | realize well what I want and what we can |
| 1013s | do may not always be the exact same |
| 1015s | thing because of the performance |
| 1016s | limitations and that's a totally |
| 1018s | important thing to consider so we felt |
| 1021s | that the calervos holds node as an event |
| 1023s | node we set it up in such a way that uh |
| 1026s | based on community feedback and how |
| 1027s | things go on we can actually turn it |
| 1028s | back on any time so we have that first |
| 1031s | two week window and well not just turn |
| 1033s | it on any time it's not really just like |
| 1035s | instant you know we have to test it and |
| 1037s | such but I'm hoping that if there's too |
| 1040s | much issue with people playing you know |
| 1042s | if the rotation goes through happy and |
| 1044s | it goes through envy and the caleribos |
| 1046s | hold isn't there we can maybe do |
| 1048s | weekends we can do Post Prime Time |
| 1049s | things like we can bring the prison back |
| 1051s | in a thematic way that's interesting so |
| 1053s | that you know maybe we can have our cake |
| 1055s | and eat it too so cool yeah |
| 1057s | something I like to do so yeah like so |
| 1061s | that's sort of the current uh situation |
| 1063s | is uh we know that we said we didn't |
| 1065s | want any gameplay tied to like it was |
| 1068s | supposed to be flavor first we had to |
| 1069s | make some changes because that's the |
| 1071s | reality of game development but we |
| 1072s | currently have the tech that we can |
| 1074s | bring back this node to perhaps identify |
| 1076s | it a little bit so similar to how the |
| 1078s | ghoul Purge is the thing maybe maybe |
| 1079s | there's things we can do to hopefully |
| 1081s | like I said uh have your pie and eat it |
| 1083s | too I'm moving down the dessert are you |
| 1087s | saying cakes better than pie are we |
| 1088s | gonna start then nope don't see it okay |

| 1099s | talk about calervo a little bit uh |
| 1101s | newest Warframe |
| 1102s | 53rd 50 seconds 33 53. there's a lot |
| 1108s | steinx was 50 Bruno 51 citrine 52. |
| 1112s | math is correct and we did something a |
| 1115s | little bit kind of different with |
| 1117s | calervo and in terms of Overgaard yes |
| 1120s | and it's been a kind of a back and forth |
| 1122s | conversation with the community a little |
| 1124s | Hot Topic as to just why maybe we took |
| 1126s | that approach and maybe we can speak a |
| 1128s | little bit about overgrid yeah basically |
| 1130s | he has so the the original design always |
| 1133s | had the mechanical history where it |
| 1136s | heals when you hit others but if you |
| 1138s | don't hit others it hits you and it felt |
| 1140s | really like in fiction with the whole |
| 1143s | stavis tab |
| 1146s | um it felt weird |
| 1147s | for the staff to give you Shields it's |
| 1151s | just you know like it's the it's a pro a |
| 1154s | kind of diegetic problem of the fiction |
| 1155s | of like Health versus the shields which |
| 1157s | are more technological it never felt |
| 1159s | correct so we decided to try over a |
| 1162s | guard because also not only gives you |
| 1164s | sole reliability but also gives you uh |
| 1166s | CC resistance so that was what we were |
| 1170s | trying to do |
| 1171s | um the problem is without Shields and |
| 1172s | without Shield gate you can get |
| 1175s | destroyed on a steel pad so |
| 1180s | um we are looking a bit at a few things |
| 1183s | for survivability kind of split into we |
| 1187s | do want to do basically I don't want you |
| 1189s | to think about it as Shield gate but for |
| 1191s | overgard because it's not that size it's |
| 1193s | much smaller basically we are going to |
| 1195s | make it so let's say you have a thousand |
| 1197s | over guard and a thousand health and you |
| 1199s | take 10 000 damage right now what |
| 1201s | happens in life is that 10 000 damage |
| 1203s | just kills you it just goes straight now |
| 1206s | what it will do is first it will consume |
| 1207s | assume that over guard then it will give |
| 1210s | you that we're trying right now with |
| 1212s | 0.25 seconds of immorality so like a |
| 1214s | tiny tiny tiny vulnerability just to |
| 1217s | kind of hold you over and then if you if |
| 1220s | you don't take more damage you're good |
| 1221s | so basically it just kind of gives you a |
| 1223s | get now for that change we do need to |
| 1224s | change code which means we cannot ship |
| 1227s | it soon that one will take a little |
| 1229s | longer for us to be able to ship we |
| 1230s | already have it made it's just yeah |
| 1232s | because we have to certify it and all |
| 1233s | that because we actually yeah we're |
| 1235s | going to Target the actual Echoes of |
| 1237s | duviri update for that one yeah so we'll |
| 1239s | talk more about that as part of the |
| 1241s | bundle but we do have Calera |
| 1242s | survivability things in that update yeah |
| 1245s | there's other that can be more |
| 1247s | short-term than we might do we're |
| 1248s | experimenting with giving him a bit more |
| 1250s | Health uh adding a little bit of |
| 1253s | basically making the overguard cap |
| 1255s | larger and scale with power strength so |
| 1259s | basically you can kind of mod towards uh |
| 1261s | surviving uh longer than that uh and uh |
| 1265s | and just like a briefing vulnerability |
| 1267s | when you |
| 1268s | right right so I see in chat the other |
| 1271s | questions are about adaptation and no |
| 1274s | regards so when I mod for survivability |
| 1276s | I throw my adaptation on any of my |
| 1278s | effective hit points are going to allow |
| 1280s | me to survive more with the incoming |
| 1282s | damage types currently adaptation does |
| 1283s | not work with Overgaard or in some |
| 1285s | capacity the damage yeah the Dr it is |
| 1288s | kind of interesting because it actually |
| 1289s | it became better for Rhino yes with the |
| 1293s | change we made for Rhino so the way the |
| 1295s | the Rhino protection worked before uh |
| 1297s | the hits didn't count to our citation |
| 1299s | whereas now when you have your your iron |
| 1302s | skin you can start building up uh |
| 1304s | adaptation Stacks so that when you get |
| 1306s | to your health you're protected it |
| 1308s | doesn't work on the upper guard itself |
| 1310s | because just like we do for our enemies |
| 1313s | we don't want you wouldn't want like a |
| 1315s | heavy gunner to have like 97 percent Dr |
| 1319s | because of armor and that affecting the |
| 1320s | roller guard because you'd never be able |
| 1322s | to kill them right so you wouldn't want |
| 1324s | that so because that over guard does not |
| 1326s | take the iron into account it's just a |
| 1327s | straight up number right I think the one |
| 1330s | thing right it was a straight up so I |
| 1331s | didn't mean to cut you off but the it |
| 1333s | but it also reduces all cc is attention |
| 1337s | so you have a value that while active |
| 1339s | all cc is reduced but because enemy |
| 1341s | damage |
| 1342s | can melt through it |
| 1344s | you know what do you do yeah the main |
| 1347s | issue is those those one shots which |
| 1349s | can't really get you especially like I |
| 1351s | was seeing some clips go around when |
| 1353s | you're finding a nextimus level 4 500 |
| 1356s | yeah I mean he's got a one shot too yeah |
| 1358s | right so we're just kind of giving that |
| 1360s | um that stop Gap when you're passing |
| 1362s | through and then that'll be enough time |
| 1365s | for you to react and do something |
| 1367s | because you can then you see that you |
| 1369s | can press your two which gives you a |
| 1370s | tiny bit of only roller invulnerability |
| 1372s | and refills your over God right so so as |
| 1375s | a collabo player you can |
| 1377s | pop yeah yeah we'll have to test it like |
| 1379s | we'll see I mean I'm looking forward to |
| 1381s | it and we'll have that in Echoes yep so |

| 1549s | themed around more of the grasslands in |
| 1551s | dubiri so you're going to see a lot of |
| 1553s | work in progress stuff here just for |
| 1555s | shapes and level layout and our plan is |
| 1558s | that none other than the Jackal as an |
| 1562s | assassinate undercroft game mode will be |
| 1564s | coming so we'll have a brand new game |
| 1565s | mode of Jack uh controllership desks |
| 1569s | uh and then uh the Jackal will be coming |
| 1571s | as a game mode in this tile set designed |
| 1574s | for it so that you have cover uh so you |
| 1576s | can you know block his firewall so |
| 1578s | you'll be able to kill the Jackal in the |
| 1580s | undercroft as part of your uh duviri |
| 1583s | Loop that's great yeah basically we like |
| 1588s | the the original idea of that sort of |
| 1590s | loop of the the random missions that |
| 1592s | come in you know the dream was always to |
| 1594s | have a kind of a boss in there yeah so |
| 1598s | we're we're getting to it and I think uh |
| 1601s | you know just looking at kind of General |
| 1603s | Community reception Jackal has always |
| 1605s | been kind of one of the best regarding |
| 1608s | ones yeah that scales pretty well uh |
| 1614s | skill issues oh no Meg not my blocks |
| 1618s | daviri Jackal so yeah we're just trying |
| 1620s | to get um a good healthy chunk of |
| 1622s | variety in the duviri Warframe gameplay |
| 1625s | things so oh you got this |
| 1627s | so yeah so that's something we're |
| 1629s | working on for Echoes of very giving a |
| 1631s | little bit more content for you to play |
| 1633s | with your duviri loadouts you know it |
| 1635s | might be interesting to go in with a |
| 1638s | crazy decree selection and shoot the |
| 1640s | Jackal so bringing that Warframe you |
| 1642s | know into the duviri power area and |
| 1645s | having some fun there so that'll be in |
| 1647s | the circuit as well so yeah lots of lots |
| 1649s | of good stuff so that is coming this is |
| 1652s | just a very whip version of the level |
| 1653s | with we just threw the Jacqueline there |

| 1689s | anku uh so we got we have a nice |
| 1692s | selection coming uh I don't know if |
| 1694s | there's any design to speak to that you |

| 1718s | scheduled content It's weekly so if we |

| 1734s | intend to sell those five uh for |
| 1736s | Platinum where you get the resources |
