[2023] End of iOS Closed Beta: November 30th 2023 + Android Announcement

Greetings Tenno,

As announced on Devstream 175, the iOS Closed Beta testing period will conclude on November 30th 2023.

For just under a year, tens of thousands of devoted Tenno assisted in playtesting Warframe on iOS, sharing their thoughts on the game’s translation to mobile, detecting bugs, and providing instrumental feedback.

On November 30th, the app made available to testers via TestFlight will no longer be playable. So, what happens next?

As was stated at TennoCon 2023, Warframe Mobile for iOS is slated for a 2024 release. With 2024 fast approaching, our team is shifting focus away from maintaining the Closed Beta and towards the official release (as well as preparing for Cross Platform Save).

As a reminder, all Closed Beta accounts and progress will be entirely wiped when the testing period concludes on November 30 2023. We made this clear as early as December 2022 via the Closed Beta FAQ, and have emphasized this fact with each update post.

Development presses onwards, and we look forward to releasing the official version of Warframe Mobile on iOS informed by all of the learnings from our Closed Beta.

iOS Pre-Orders are already live on the App Store with a special bonus incentive: anyone who pre-orders ahead of launch will receive the Bombyx Syandana and a 3-Day Affinity Booster. Check out the official FAQ for more information.

That’s not all, Tenno! You can now opt-in to be the first to experience Warframe on Android devices. Opt-in with your Warframe account and device information and you could be selected to join an upcoming Android Closed Beta. We will be sending invites to the email address affiliated with your Warframe account, so please make sure it’s up to date!

Please note: Warframe on Android will debut at a later date than the upcoming iOS version.

Android Closed Beta Opt-In Update

Unfortunately, the upcoming Closed Beta (date not yet announced) will be limited to a smaller number of regions compared to the regions where it will be available at the official launch. Rest assured that the Android Closed Beta region list is not indicative of which regions Warframe for Android will release in when it is ready to launch.
