[2024] PINNED: PSA: Workaround for Steam Deck Crashes on Proton 7

We have received reports of Tenno crashing on their Steam Deck. While we are investigating, we have one workaround that fixes a known crash caused by overriding it to use Proton 7 for Warframe.

Workaround steps:

1. On the Warframe page of your Steam Deck, select the Gear icon.

2. Select Properties

3. Go to Compatibility
   
4. Uncheck “force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool”

This is not a guaranteed fix for all affected, but we hope it should help some of you launch Warframe once more!
