A recent data breach has been recorded and found that warframe has been effected aswell as forum accounts. Please change your passwords and if you use the same passwords for other account please change those too and activate two factor authentication
External link →Naturally, Digital Extremes takes account security very seriously. But in this particular case we do not believe that any new data breach has actually occurred. After investigating, it appears that data contained in this collection is just previous breaches that have been gathered together. Any Warframe related data appears to have been from a much older event that occurred in 2014, which we disclosed here:
Accounts created after this event (i.e. that are newer than 9 years) don't appear in the data.
We will continue to keep an eye on this. We do not at this time believe that any new data has been breached, but it's never a bad time to update your passwords and enable Tennoguard 2FA (~https://www.warframe.com/2fa-faq~ for PC accounts).
