The Hex Quest Changes & Fixes (written SUPER vague to avoid spoilers):

  • Fixed getting kicked out of the Quest each time you play a stage where you use weapons you do not own (ex: AX-52, Vesper 77, etc.) 
  • Fixed being unable to progress in Quest after moving backwards during a specific sequence.
  • Improved the waypointing and flow of a section of the quest to make it clearer how you can progress. 
  • Fixed being unable to complete the quick time event in the Quest if you had your mouse wheel bound to Melee attack and the "Repeated Button Presses" option set to "Hold". 
  • Fixed being able to ride the Atomicycle into restricted areas and causing issues with cinematics. 
  • Fixed getting downed in certain portions of the Quest not allowing the next objective to trigger. 
  • Fixed being able to quick travel to your Arsenal in certain segments of the Quest where it should be disabled.
  • Added a sheen/glow to a destructible barrier in the Quest to indicate that you have to attack it in order to progress. 
  • Made several SFX updates & fixes throughout the Quest. 
  • Fixed Eleanor’s hair clipping in certain portions of the Quest. 
  • Fixed performance issues caused by fire VFX during certain end of Quest moments. 
  • Fixed Companions appearing during cut scenes where they shouldn’t be. 
  • Fixed several script errors throughout the Quest. 
  • Fixed some lighting and depth of field issues in one of the tiles in the Quest. 
  • Fixed a context action appearing during a cinematic. 
  • Improved texture streaming for certain Quest stages. 
  • Fixed some lighting issues in certain Quest cutscenes.
  • Fixed Dragon Keys being enabled during the Quest. 
  • Fixed missing and repeating sounds during a cinematic with Kalymos in the Hex Quest. 
  • Fixed a script error if you died during the convoy phase of the Hex Quest.
  • Fixed minimap appearing in stages where it isn't necessary for it to be there. 
  • Fixed script error during tunnel load in first stages (also fixes Amir getting stuck, what a silly guy). 
  • Fixed being able to access Captura and Look Link buttons during the Quest. 

Changes: 

  • Added sound FX to indicate when Nyx’s Mind Control ends.    

Optimizations: 

  • Optimized the Kuva Lich/Sisters of Parvos name generator tech. 

Steel Path Höllvania Fix:

  • Fixed players being unable to earn Steel Path trophies for Höllvania missions.
    • With this fix, in order to properly unlock the Höllvania Steel Path nodes to get your trophy please proceed with the following:
      • 1: complete all 1999 nodes on normal difficulty -- you're now officially qualified to make progress on the Steel Path versions! 
      • 2: complete all those 1999 nodes again on Steel Path difficulty -- you get a trophy!

Fixes:

  • Fixed multiple script errors when loading into stages of the Whispers in the Walls Quest. 
    • This was causing a halt in quest progress, you’d load into the mission and nothing would occur. We encourage you to hop back in to continue the story!
      • Also fixed players not seeing the doors to the Necralisk open in the first stage of the Quest, leading them to think they can’t progress through. 
  • Fixed being unable to load into the "Seal the Tomb" stage of the Natah Quest from Navigation. It would start to load but then players would be stuck waiting on a black screen.  
  • Fixed Rathuum and Index enemies not benefitting from boosted Mod Drop Chance (Steel Path modifier, Boosters.)
  • Fixed Clients crashing after Host uses the context action (while in Last Gasp) to take down the H-09 Efervon Tank in the Assassination mission.  
    • In order to fix this issue, the Host will now be pulled out of Lasp Gasp and back into their Warframe prior to the cutscene occurring. 
  • Fixed the "Kill X Eximus" 1999 Calendar To Do challenge not progressing when killing Eximus in Höllvania.   
  • Fixed loss of function after interacting with the NavNow Loadout UI in the Mall's Pom-2.
  • Fixed Bounty and non-bounty (normal mission) players matchmaking with each other after selecting the same mission type from the Mall’s Pom-2. 
  • Fixed the following Host migration issues in Legacyte Harvest missions:
    • Fixed Legacytes harvested after Host migration not counting toward mission progression. 
    • Fixed players returning from Host migration seeing Kalymos waypoint markers stacking on top of each other after each round. 
  • Fixesd towards the Mobile Voice Pirate Radio in Faceoff missions not taking damage from Scaldra/Techrot weapons. 
    • Known issue: Melee enemies do not damage it. 
  • Fixed being able to start another conversation with a Protoframe after they go offline. 
    • By design, you can only chat with each Protoframe once per day (resetting at 0:00 UTC). 
    • This also fixes getting stuck in a “Please Wait” hang while chatting. 
  • Fixed Dante's Noctua not utilizing equipped mods when loading into Höllvania missions from the Mall. 
  • Fixed claiming incubated Companion causing game to become unresponsive. 
  • Fixed Host migration in Faceoff missions causing enemy difficulty to increase and Boost/Penalty pickups to spawn more than the intended amount. 
  • Fixed Faceoff HUD tracker showing X/Y in objective HUD instead of numbers after Host migration. 
  • Fixed Biocodes (used to open Techrot Safes) not being detected by Golden Instinct and Orokin Eye. 
  • Fixed instances where the Legacyte in Legacyte Harvest missions could get stuck in certain Hollvania tiles. 
  • Fixed certain instances where Protoframes would appear listed in the KIM system as if they were “online” to chat, when they are in fact not. 
  • Fixed Atomicycle SFX fading in and out while loading into missions started from Höllvania Central Mall. 
  • Fixed minimap being broken in certain Höllvania tiles. 
  • Fixed a rare bug that caused the Atomicycle not to explode after casting Atom-Bomb. 
  • Fixed the H-04 (Quest) and H-09 (Assassination) Efervon Tanks missing their death VFX. 
  • Fixed a heart icon always showing up in the DIRECTGIFTZ purchase confirmation window, regardless of if it actually increased your Chemistry with the receiving Protoframe.  
  • Fixed the "Shoot With Thermian RPG" objective not clearing after entering the H-09 Efervon Tank arena in the Assassination mission. 
  • Fixed enemies that carry Gas Cans in the "Date Burn" Faceoff objective missing an official name. They are now "Scaldra Jaegar/Harbinger Gas Carrier".  
  • Fixed floating pillars in the Höllvania tileset. 
  • Fixed several floating props and clipping issues in the Hollvania tileset. 
  • Fixed lighting intersecting into the ground and causing strange patterns in certain areas of the Höllvania tileset. 
  • Fixed description for the Arcane 1999 Calendar Prize not making sense. It now explains that Arcanes can be equipped on your gear. 
  • Fixed Void Snare's Focus ability icon appearing as a blank box. 
  • Fixed H-04 and H-09 Efervon Tanks not appearing in the Codex. 
  • Fixed offset issues with several Syandanas equipped onto the Drifter Goth Jacket. 
  • Fixed Atomicycle appearing as an allied dot on the mini map during the 1999 portion of the Lotus Eaters prologue. 
  • Fixed script error when viewing Gear in the Orbiter Arsenal if you have Air Support equipped. 
  • Fixed script errors in interface. 
  • Fixed multiple script errors caused by Mesa’s Peacemaker. 
  • Fixed rare script error caused by Ancient Healers’ Overguard pulse. 
  • Fixed several script errors caused by closing the Focus screen. 
  • Fixed script error in the Operator equipment screen. 
  • Fixed script error caused by Cyte-09's Prex Card hiding spot in the Höllvania Central Mall. 
  • Fixed script error caused by Techrot Skuzzi's AOE ability. 
  • Fixed script error caused by Panzer Vulpaphyla's Viral Quills Mod. 
  • Fixed script error with Trinity's Link. 
  • Fixed several script errors in the KIM chat system. 
  • Fixed script error with Xaku's Passive.
  • Fixed script error with Smeeta Kavat's Mischief Mod. 
  • Fixed a rare bug that caused explosion sound FX to stack. 
  • Fixes towards crashes when leaving Open Landscapes and certain Höllvania tiles. 
  • Fixed script error caused by Inaros' Sandstorm. 
  • Fixed script error caused by Somachord. 
  • Fixed script error with Excalibur's Exalted Blade.
  • Fixed script error with Transference. 
  • Fixed PH tag in the “Reset Decorations” confirmation pop-up. 
  • Fixed script error caused by some of the destructible vehicles in Höllvania. Hope the Höllvanians have good car insurance… 
  • Fixed several script errors in Hell-Scrub missions. 
  • Fixed script error with Vauban's Minelayer. 
  • Fixed script errors that could occur in both Squad vs. Squad and Solo Squad Faceoff missions. 
  • Fixed script error in Legacyte Harvest mission. 
  • Fixed multiple script errors while customizing your Landing Craft. 
  • Fixed script error caused byTechrot Babau's abilities. 
  • Fixed script error caused by Scaldra Flayer's dash.

If you're unable to get past the game launcher, can you please try:

  • Please quit the game
  • Reboot Console
  • Check for updates via Apps and Games
  • Download 600ish mb update
  • Login once more

we're looking into these reports of calendar challenges not working in some scenarios and missions not starting (stuck in loading tunnel)
