TennoGenAnnouncement.jpg

As you might have seen during our Art Panel at TennoCon 2020, we are expanding our TennoGen program offerings this year!

Files and guides for the following content are now available:

New Melee Weapons:

*Our Melee Guide has been updated to explain placement guidelines for these weapons to prevent clipping!

Shoulder Armor Pieces
After seeing the amazing Chest Armor Pieces our community has submitted, we felt that Shoulder armor was a great next step to offer more Warframe customization in our TennoGen program!

The rules and guidelines are different than their Chest counterparts, so we have a guide available here: https://www.warframe.com/steamworkshop/help/index.php?page=creating-shoulder-armor-pieces

New Landing Crafts:

  • Scimitar
  • Xiphos
  • Nightwave

We can’t wait to see what the community comes up with! :community:

Ah for a moment I thought the next rounds items were announced. Nice to see a thread for this is up though.

If you don't mind me asking, how exactly does Shoulder pieces work? Is it only one shoulder or both? Or is that up to the tennogen creator? If so, will there be a way to tell if it includes only one or both shoulders?

We are only accepting sets of 2 for shoulder pieces at this time. It's outlined in the guide! 🙂

So it is possible to not have any articulation at all? as in regular blade instead of 2 scissor blades?

Yep, you're correct: articulation (as in: two blades on a pivot point) is not a requirement for blade and whip. Some attack animations make use of the double blades but the animations are still fine without the second moving part. We encourage you to take advantage of it of course, since it's a quality unique to this type of weapon, but it is entirely up to you whether you want to or not.

One more question, does the pivot point and the direction of the moving blade needs to match Lacera? or the skins can have its own custom pivot point?

Keep it around the same area, but it doesn't have to match perfectly. Goal is to retain the same type of scissor-like motion.
