[2024] Warframe: 1999 - DirectX12 Crashes due to Windows Incompatibility

Hi Tenno,

We’ve been made aware of crashes related to Tenno playing on DirectX12 who have not installed certain Windows Updates. If you’re crashing upon launch with DX12 active (and can’t quite remember the last time you ran a Windows Update), we recommend swapping to DX11 to fix —  future Warframe patches will disable the DX12 setting if you have this incompatibility.

Players can do so via gear wheel in the PC Warframe Launcher. Open the Graphics API dropdown and select “DirectX 11” to fix!
