1185s	here since since we started this in 2020
1189s	uh we have officially crossed the 1
1191s	million milone we weren't sure if we did
1192s	it this year so then the team did some
1194s	calculations based on like some of the
1196s	rollover and the team at Princess
1198s	Margaret sent us this plaque to sort of
1201s	acknowledge how as a community we've
1203s	done this and we have truly passed the
1204s	million dollar Mark which is just
1205s	incredible I almost feel like it should
1207s	be the community saying this I'm just
1209s	letting you know what you've
1210s	accomplished and it's it's incredible so
1212s	thank you so much uh and we also have uh
1214s	so since this campaign in um October the
1217s	quest of Conquer Cancer in October
1218s	happened we also put uh some merchandise
1221s	on sale the conera merch and other
1222s	things and in addition to this we've
1225s	also donated everything from that which
1226s	is
1228s	18,8
1229s	$583 so we have additional donations are
1232s	being made even though the campaign is
1234s	no longer running it's we are still
1236s	making donations thanks to your Buy in
1238s	to the merchandise and other things so
1240s	yeah thank you that's fantastic and as a
1243s	result of all these things uh we do
1244s	unlock some ingame perks just to sort of
1246s	make it fun and gamify during the
1247s	campaign including the two times

1761s	so it is the dev build there's lots of
1763s	gameplay Anything Can Happen yeah but
1765s	one thing that we do want to start off
1767s	with for expectations that for 1999 as
1769s	we're very close to release and we're
1771s	working on it we are um going to be
1774s	delaying the infested Koda the technos
1777s	site Koda feature is being moved to
1780s	2025 uh so what this means is oh no
1783s	there's two versions of this asset
1785s	that's fine this is this is all we need
1787s	the tour is delayed so let me explain
1789s	why um first we would not finish it to
1792s	the standard on time without other
1794s	things in the update suffering so the
1796s	infested technos site code assist system
1799s	is a lot of work from all teams and the
1801s	rest of the update would just not be to
1803s	our standards if we released it all at
1805s	once uh we don't want to release it
1807s	buggy and we don't want to release it
1809s	rushed yeah then it's also the cleanest
1812s	thing to decouple for a second heat of
1815s	1999 because it's not really tied to the
1818s	quest it's not tied to The Syndicate it
1820s	is its own system so taking it and
1823s	moving it is an extremely clean break
1827s	off while still giving you 1999 this
1830s	year having said all that there's so
1832s	much in this update that we hope you can
1833s	see why that we're okay we'll take the
1835s	rest of the the stream to show you how
1837s	much is in there yeah yeah so we hope
1839s	you understand uh we will be as
1841s	transparent as possible on everything
1842s	that's coming in that system when you
1844s	can expect it and honestly moving it
1846s	gives us more time to S think through
1848s	some of the feedback we got anyway so
1850s	it's it is a win for the system for the
1852s	team uh and for you guys even if it's
1855s	disappointing which we totally
1856s	understand yeah yeah it became very that
1859s	if we wanted to do it at the same time

1874s	they wanted to five Forma all of them
1875s	would take X days to get that much Forma
1877s	I was like you know what that's when
1878s	we'll release it after I'm joking I'm
1880s	joking but you can look forward to more
1882s	information I you know soon on that
1884s	we'll we'll get 1999 out and then we'll
1885s	give you the the road to onlines to
1888s	resuming so you know their tour manager

1914s	sort of two quests that are yeah they're
1916s	about the same length of time so just bu

1925s	that's uh that's where you need to be if
1927s	you want to play day one when it
1928s	launches if you're not there don't sweat
1929s	it the updates don't go anywhere play at
1931s	your own pace but you can absolutely
1933s	jump right into Warframe 1999 if you
1936s	have these criteria done and you know I
1938s	have an asset here that is more of a
1940s	joke for Jeff who can't be here but um
1942s	when we were talking about you know
1944s	quality and getting through things this
1946s	picture is the representation of
1948s	probably one of the hardest things that
1950s	the team has had to get
1952s	working this chair chair which is a
1955s	piece of a cinematic has broken the
1958s	animation team the technical design team
1961s	the rigging team to the point that this
1964s	was created unasked by Elise on the
1966s	animation team because the thread to fix
1969s	this stupid chair it's probably two
1973s	months of of trouble I don't even know
1975s	it's just ridiculous so this chair is is

2662s	pizza that gives you the most okay uh as
2665s	it should um and then um you know likes
2668s	to read this so that'll give you some
2669s	standing so you can look uh look at Ley
2672s	when you find things to turn

2677s	Syndicate members that's what they do
2680s	but now we're going to talk about how it
2681s	all comes together to make
2684s	1999 we got your tokens to turn in for
2686s	standing yeah but we also have bounties
2689s	and 1999 bounties are a little different
2692s	okay because each character actually
2695s	comes with you each character when you
2697s	do a a bounty with them sorry they come
2699s	with you yes so they run out UND do a
2701s	mission with you so maybe we'll try one
2702s	of those get a feel for it um and so for
2705s	instance if you want to do the Eleanor
2706s	run it's random hers might be the
2709s	hardest one day it might be easiest the
2710s	next day we generate them on a schedule
2713s	as the Bounty members want what they
2714s	want um none of these rewards are final
2716s	let's say uh still working on things but
2719s	you can go and run with each of them and
2721s	you'll earn standing of course like any
2723s	bounty system but you're also going to
2726s	earn something else that we're calling
2728s	chemistry or relationship stuff so if
2732s	you want to go and run missions with AE
2735s	yes you'll get standing with the hex
2737s	Syndicate yes you'll get items drops but
2740s	you're also going to basically become
2742s	closer with them either as a friend or
2744s	as a lover it's up to you um so you'll
2747s	just be able to earn those things as
2749s	you're playing with these characters and
2750s	that's kind of going to lead into the
2752s	relationship system oh yeah yeah how how
2755s	much have we how many words have we WR
2758s	for this like I am glad you asked cuz
2761s	cuz it is yeah it's unbelievable
2763s	staggering it feels it feels staggering
2765s	let's take let's take let's take a
2766s	little look here um I'm doing something
2768s	that you won't be able to do on live so
2770s	just ignore me but I'm just this is just
2771s	for testing but what we've done with
2774s	1999 is we've basically tried to make as
2777s	authentic a experience as possible which
2779s	is in who are you chatting with in 1999
2781s	and how did you chat with them and why
2783s	would we do this for a game system well
2785s	it lets you connect with the hex learn
2787s	about them what they like what they
2788s	don't like it doesn't have to be
2789s	romantic you don't even have to do it at
2791s	all because the bounties will get you
2793s	chemistry but so does this syst okay so
2796s	our goals with this system were it's
2798s	really immersive for people that want
2800s	deeper relationships with the NPCs we
2802s	make um it gets you a sort of immersive
2806s	and fictional and deeper way to connect
2809s	there so much character right so much in
2812s	fact that there's two novels worth
2815s	of the word count clocked in today at
2819s	166,00 words uh so I think if we you
2823s	know you have to kind of figure out who
2824s	they are so broadsword here uh remember
2826s	who Could It Be Who Could It
2828s	Be who is
2830s	broadsword um so you can ask different
2832s	questions you can learn a little bit
2834s	about like what was it like growing up
2835s	you and
2837s	Eleanor
2840s	oh he does not want to talk to
2844s	me not going so great for me um and okay

2853s	kind of learn a little bit about them so
2854s	right now uh you are you know this is

2892s	the story of Paul and and the romance
2895s	system yes for those of you tuning in um
2899s	we've talked to you a little bit now
2900s	about the system you've seen it before
2901s	it's fully fully uh you know something
2904s	new to us new to you but we're really
2906s	excited for it the teams work super hard
2907s	on it uh and it has to be tested so
2911s	enter Paul Paul is famous for naming
2914s	crumb guzzler on a past devstream where
2916s	we just died because so Paul is he's
2921s	been here a long time he's the lead of
2923s	the entire QA team and he thought if
2925s	we're doing a romance system he's going
2927s	to be the one to test it because he
2928s	doesn't want to make anyone on the team
2930s	uncomfortable if it's like you know to
2933s	runchy or what have you so every day for
2937s	the past however weeks months he's been
2940s	writing his reports on how he's doing
2945s	which is amazing so every uh so Paul has
2949s	been winning everyone and Reporting how
2952s	he's stumbled along the way so we just
2955s	want to have a a shout out to Paul who
2957s	has you know started in Fame with crum
2960s	guzzler and has you know worked really
2962s	hard to test this system so that he
2965s	could be the one to like absorb all the
2966s	rejection
2967s	all the flirting and we just all I have
2971s	to say is he's he's won them all I loved
2974s	seeing the bug reports come in where he
2975s	said Quincy is so hot he crashed the
2977s	game and that
2982s	like the crumb rizzler the crumb rizzler
2985s	exactly so yeah he's gone from crumb
2987s	guzzler to crumb rler
2990s	absolutely so sorry Paul so sorry Paul
2994s	uh we we love you man and thanks for
2996s	good job
2998s	um but uh for those of you that are into
3000s	the more character side of our games
3002s	there is a bit of a end game for this
3004s	system we're not going to talk too much
3005s	about it but we are going to give you a
3007s	sneak peek of what you can expect as you
3010s	play your way through the system and
3011s	this isn't a system that's going to have
3012s	sort of like instant gratification it's
3015s	not going to be well I think it will
3017s	unless you get rejected like I just did
3018s	but uh what we're hoping to build here
3020s	just to set your expectations is your
3022s	choices will matter and on intervals
3025s	you'll be able to sort of go back if you
3028s	don't like the choices you made so there
3029s	needs to be enough tension in the system
3031s	that you can't just Blitz through it
3033s	make your choices inconsequential and
3035s	screw up your account if you made a
3037s	mistake like you don't want to get
3038s	dumped or something and then your
3040s	Warframe account that you've spent 5,000
3042s	hours and is tarnished forever so we
3044s	have a immersive built-in sort of reset
3046s	we have it so that it happens on
3048s	intervals so take your time with it it
3051s	takes time to finish for the characters
3052s	yeah yeah I don't I did want to just see
3055s	the questions the this system is if
3058s	you're interested in the characters and
3059s	learning about them and learning about
3060s	the lore you don't expect it's going to
3063s	be like I get 24.7 more crit chance on
3066s	my weapon because there's nothing like
3068s	that this is only because you want to
3070s	learn about them and through the lore
3072s	and the little sneak peak that yeah it's
3074s	basically taking six larians times more
3077s	writing but putting it in a different
3079s	system and if that's not your thing
3082s	that's cool but if you want a piece of
3083s	the end game here's a little preview
3085s	totally this is Warframe hitting its ear
3087s	quoa of adding features that you never
3089s	knew you wanted and never asked for and
3091s	putting way more polish into them than
3093s	we need to and then you finding out oh I
3095s	did want this all along this is amazing
3097s	you could love it you could y just
3099s	incredible shouts out for to the entire
3100s	team the Lo team in particular is
3102s	working their butts off to translate all
3104s	those lines two it's two novels worth of
3105s	writing and the real reason we committed

3330s	mode is not a direct uh player versus
3333s	player combat it is indirect it's
3335s	essentially what it is it's a race uh
3338s	you have different objectives that
3340s	you're going to be completing uh whoever
3342s	completes them faster uh wins and you
3345s	can basically collect things to buff
3348s	your team or debuff the other team so
3351s	let's get it started I'm starting it
3354s	there we go uh and while we're doing
3355s	this just as a heads up we have made
3357s	great improvements to motorcycle you can
3358s	summon them in air now there's a lot of
3360s	usability
3366s	improvements don't look at my writing
3367s	everyone is everyone's having a good
3370s	day so our first objective is
3372s	exterminate and we're up against the uh
3374s	other team so and already losing yeah
3377s	we're already
3378s	losing uh so all of the activities have
3380s	some way to basically speed them up like
3382s	we have some that you'll be familiar
3384s	with like this which is exterminate uh
3387s	some others you'll you'll see that are
3389s	so familiar but we've added to all of
3391s	them some way to make them faster or
3395s	slower um and then if uh if red looks
3398s	around she might find a a pickup perhaps
3401s	a pickup let's see there's not a lot in
3403s	the first um f oh there's one there's a
3405s	debuff there I see it so that red one
3407s	over there is what we call a hindrance
3409s	so when she picks it up you can see in
3410s	the UI there uh danger zones so if she
3414s	holds H she'll basically cast oh I think
3417s	she has something remapped here that's
3419s	oh there he goes so H so now the other
3422s	team is going to start getting danger
3423s	zones for
3424s	you I don't want your danger
3428s	zones all right so now we've both moved
3430s	on to assassinate and uh so we did the
3433s	exterminate
3434s	objective and I got to get my way over

3791s	permanent so they actually builds up
3792s	throughout the mission as you're getting
3794s	more and more kills uh he's one does
3796s	like a little radar uh I don't know if
3798s	can I'm going to play I'm let's go get
3801s	i'll Yap over that but um against scra
3803s	because this is a Scala themed stream do
3806s	let's do it we'll do a scull D yeah and
3808s	if I'm being Hest he also works much
3810s	better versus scull D because they have
3812s	very clear heads and you'll see how his
3814s	one works so basic his one kind of scans
3817s	the environment it'll show you enemies
3819s	through um through the walls so you can
3821s	actually see them behind the walls and
3822s	it'll highlight their weak points so you
3824s	know like where to shoot to get all
3826s	those extra bonus it also uh gives you
3829s	like a bunch of punch through so you can
3831s	actually shoot through the buildings not
3833s	only see them through the buildings but
3835s	shoot them through the buildings
3837s	uh it feels pretty op at some
3840s	points there you drop your
3843s	one you'll basically you know they're
3846s	there totally on alerted to your
3848s	presence uh like the N I got from QA
3853s	actually might have been you that told
3855s	me that he like shooting fish on a
3857s	barrow
3858s	absolutely they're just not so we're
3861s	nerfing it it's fine it's fine yeah I'm

3870s	using a signature primary the Recon
3872s	effect effect which has an active reload

3881s	on the ammo so that's a new mechanic we
3884s	added for his second ability and for the
3886s	Recon Flex which is essentially that you
3888s	can have uh Elemental ammo that will do
3891s	an extra damage attack of that type that
3894s	has guaranteed status so if you hold his
3898s	two if you hold his two you can choose
3900s	whatever element you want and then if
3902s	you tap it you will immediately reload
3905s	with the type oh that's awesome and drop
3907s	two ammo so that your party can also
3909s	pick him up or you can pick him up after
3911s	you run
3912s	out yeah it's a strategist I love that
3915s	ability picking them up immediately
3916s	makes you reload so for example Recon
3919s	Flex who which has a pretty long um long
3922s	reload you can essentially skip it just
3924s	by walking on one of those on one of you
3926s	immediately reload with that type so
3928s	it's uh it's pretty good for any weapons
3930s	with like long um long reloads is really
3933s	good for that and it's good when I go
3934s	into a mission and I realize I have the
3936s	wrong build equipped and I can just
3937s	throw magnetic on top purpose Mission
3939s	and I'm ready to go profit taker players
3941s	just lost
3943s	drool they lost November the head
3946s	highlighting is way more satisfying than
3948s	I thought it would be when
3951s	I we go um one thing I now that we were
3955s	talking about um about the the tridal
3959s	ons the his one will be really good for
3961s	that because it increases the any Target
3963s	that is marked to walls or any tet that
3966s	is marked actually takes more damage on
3967s	the weak points so you know if you're a
3970s	you're a throl on speeder that will
3972s	probably
3974s	uh that'll be enticing all right I'm

3979s	yeah his three basically uh goes into
3981s	stealth
3983s	mode it has a short duration but as long
3986s	as you're getting we weak Pawn kills it
3988s	keeps extending oh so basically that's

3993s	you can keep it for it's similar to like
3995s	the G one where it's essentially as long
3997s	as you're getting the condition you can
3999s	keep it going indefinitely uh in this
4002s	case we're probably not and it's going
4004s	to expire and then you'll have a tiny
4005s	bit of cool down uh let's see how much
4008s	uh oh you managed to save it like that

4046s	mechanic we updated the Hut a little bit

4052s	where that point is so we made that
4054s	reload larger and you can see how it
4056s	works if you reload correctly you get uh
4058s	heat ammo on your reload so you can see
4061s	that that is independent of um
4064s	independent of what side can look at
4066s	that animation it's so sick the belt fed
4069s	everything great oh welcome to 1999

4136s	all the rec crochet counts as weak point

4141s	Damage Done to weak point so and then
4143s	alt fire and then there's the alt fire
4145s	which can freeze enemies in place so if
4147s	you just drop it there you just get well

4154s	grenade that basically does Max cold
4156s	stats and just freezes them over is it
4159s	on a cool down uh I don't remember how

4701s	component where you can see the the
4703s	damage tracking there so that you can
4705s	see how strong they are and you can also
4706s	see the the timing of them we made the
4709s	the MC Target way more aggressive so
4712s	before they used to they still used to
4714s	care about their lives even though
4715s	they're Immortal uh so they would take
4717s	cover and they would be finding new
4719s	positions to shoot and whatnot now they
4721s	just go ham they don't care about
4722s	anything other than killing people uh so
4724s	they're very aggressive uh they move
4726s	faster as well so they they basically
4728s	have a an easier time kind of keeping up
4731s	with you and uh you can see they're
4733s	always trying to be near where you are
4736s	also their attacks now deal radiation so
4739s	they can sort of spread the confusion
4741s	around so you find one that has like AOE
4744s	attacks for example they can be pretty
4746s	good at just keeping a whole bunch of
4748s	other enemies distracted at the same
4750s	time um at the same time that you're uh
4753s	playing
4754s	so um I think that's it for her One MH
4758s	for her two the psychic bolts um let's
4763s	do them there so now the psychic bols
4765s	actually uh steal some of the defenses
4767s	that they take away so if you pause
4770s	right now just so that we can see the
4773s	thing it's the test uh yeah you just
4775s	cover on
4776s	the like cover on the oh oh sorry I
4779s	thought you meant in the okay yeah so
4781s	you hover on the buff over there you can
4782s	see psychic bolts essentially are giving
4784s	you in this case she got 130 armor
4786s	because you hit an enemy with armor but
4788s	they can also steal Shields they can
4790s	steal over guard depends on what you hit
4793s	so for example that guy will give her
4795s	over guard so you can see you got some
4797s	over guard over there so it really
4799s	depends on what you're attacking with
4800s	the psychic bolts you get the defenses
4803s	that you stole uh also when you kill an
4805s	enemy that's affected by psychic bolts
4808s	two more psychic bolts spread out oh so
4811s	you can basically keep it kind of going
4813s	there uh for after you cast it it's a
4816s	little longer duration too so you can
4818s	really kind of get that that ball
4820s	rolling especially if you're like
4821s	defending an area yeah um so that's the
4824s	like ball
4825s	uh for her tree we really only changed
4828s	that instead of being similar to the
4830s	problem we had with frost which was like
4832s	that one was fake cold procs this one
4835s	was also fake uh radiation procs so now
4838s	we change it to proper radiation procs
4840s	with the same duration and stuff but
4842s	since they're uh radiation now they have
4845s	extra benefits like when enemies hit
4847s	each other they deal more damage things
4849s	like that things that before you didn't
4851s	get any advantage from also any any uh
4854s	related kind of
4855s	uh arcanes or mods or whatever that got
4857s	benefits from radiation now benefit from
4860s	this as well I believe we did the same
4861s	change we psychic bolt augment uh that
4863s	now does proper radiation
4865s	yeah um this is my mind control F now so
4869s	I got him so things things are oh uh
4871s	exterminate has a Twist but like I don't
4873s	have to do that but we
4875s	can yeah exterminate the both
4878s	exterminate and survival we are not
4880s	they're not just like the vanilla ones
4882s	we added a little bit of a Twist to each
4884s	one uh but I think we can let them
4886s	discover that sounds good H you guys can
4889s	discover that when it comes up uh and
4890s	then for absorb we changed it to be uh
4893s	limited duration now you have movement
4895s	move around press space maybe I don't
4897s	know if that went in right oh floaty so
4900s	you actually can move around as you're
4901s	doing it because um it is now a
4904s	determined duration so it no longer
4906s	blocks your your energy uh consump your
4909s	energy regening it uh also it scales now
4913s	with damage that enemies are doing to
4915s	each other so the big kind of counter
4917s	Synergy that she used to have was you
4920s	cast chaos then you go to absorb and no
4922s	one attacks you right because everyone's
4924s	attacking each other so now it'll
4927s	basically start uh it's it'll start
4929s	making it so that all that damage that
4931s	enemies are dealing with each other also
4933s	gets
4933s	absorbed depending on the damage that
4936s	you absorb when you come out I don't
4938s	know if that's working here I just saw
4940s	it was yep okay when you come out you'll
4942s	have invulnerability after absorb is
4945s	done and the duration of that scales
4947s	based on how much damage you absorb so
4949s	you'll get an extra 1 second here yeah
4951s	uh so every 5,000 damage right now okay
4954s	so yeah it really depends on how much
4956s	damage you absorb there for for that and
4958s	really like it's mainly meant for steel
4962s	path so that when you come out of abord
4964s	you have h a time to be totally safe

4972s	for people asking me how is aimil
4973s	different aimil you can use your weapons

4976s	assimilate it drains energy you can use

4982s	can get more strategic and yeah and a
4985s	simulate still endless so ass simulate
4987s	works exactly like it works right now in
4989s	life you know except for the fact that
4991s	now it also absorbs damage from uh
4994s	enemies attacking enemies yeah and if if
4997s	she's as good as I think she is I should
4999s	be able to do my Gemini emote in peace

5459s	you'll get those three for free two are
5461s	earned and then a free Warframe slot as
5463s	well so this is a new player Focus

5468s	friction yeah more stuff for you to
5470s	build and to try 1999 everyone gets more
5473s	Slots free and another change we've made
5475s	is we have removed the uh when you are
5478s	doing a Mastery Rank test and you fail
5481s	there's a 24-hour cool down we removed
5483s	the cool down with failure we've kept it
5485s	for succeeding for many reasons uh you
5487s	know there's just issues with people
5488s	making Smurf accounts trying to do like
5490s	payment scamming and stuff yeah but for
5492s	failing we've taken away the 20 cool
5494s	down because that was a huge point where
5496s	people would leave yep uh which means
5498s	you can just retry as many times as you
5500s	need until you pass good change yeah
5503s	makes it a little less uh less less of a
5506s	punishment so more slots and less red
5509s	pixels on your screen if you fail I
5511s	think yeah less frustration and waiting
5513s	yeah MH so that is all coming with 1999

5732s	to the community begins so operators as
5735s	of next year they will officially be
5737s	10-year-old art 10-year-old content uh

5777s	decision that we think respects as many
