thank you for all the kindness on this post, everyone. you've made a hurting Tenno feel a little better. i'm very lucky to have a large support network of friends & family, but i can't express how much i appreciate the support from the family here. i wish i knew what to say about the situation in general. i didn't expect to lose him anytime soon, let alone to himself, & i really felt like this little collection of knickknacks wasn't enough to honor his memory, but i feel a bit better about it now. thank you to this community; you've helped me through some dark times in my life, whether you knew it or not, & i trust you to help me through this one.
and to everyone at DE, though i know the chances of any of you seeing this are slim to none: thank you for doing what you do, & for making this game what it is, & so accessible to anyone. my dad was a very depressed man, though he fought it with everything he had, & Warframe was a deeply loved escape for him. he was giddy about every update, every new weapon or Warframe he tried, was absolutely enamored with every character & their individual charms. i hope you all know what a gift you've made, & how much it means to many people. thank you, deeply & sincerely, from a grieving daughter.
to those who have lost people close to them that trip over this post: be strong. i've only been missing my dad for a day, & i already can't fathom how i'm going to go on without him-- he's not going to see my 19th birthday. he's not going to see me get a job i love, find a house, a wife, we're never going to build our herb garden or own a tegu like we always talked about. i'm going to have to do those things on my own, but i damn well will. we carry on for the people we love, whether they're still with us or not. you are all strong & brave as all hell, Tenno, & i believe in you.
