I'm a big ol' tactics/strategy game nerd. I've clocked in thousands of hours in totalwar games.

And I am just floored by just how well Wargroove is designed. It's such a deep game, and yet it fits like a glove for anyone with a passing familiarity with the unit identities. Anyone familiar with heavy infantry can intuit how Spearmen work as a big, slow ball to roll over lighter enemy formations. You can use Wagonburg tactics, or even think of them as mechanized infantry by shipping ranged units to the front and dropping them behind the wagon. You can have air superiority, you can do supply raiding, you can have light cavalry scout and attack on the flanks (though I wish the battlepups had more damage against villages for supply raiding!), and you can even have naval bombardments to support a coastal engagement!

This game tickles the big ol' nerd in me, and I just had to share that.
