[2022] Is Amumu good right now?

I've heard from a lot of people that he's not very good, but I really like him. I love his character and lore. I'm probably gonna end up playing him in Pvp, but I wanted to know if he was good enough to maybe use him in ranked when I know how to use him. I heard that his last changes made him a bit of a better support. I'm a support main so if he would be a good support that would be great, but I could play any role. Any Amumu build tips (or Amumu tips in general) would be appreaciated too.
