Did riot mention if they will add AS boots to wildrift? I feel like It’s very vital for adcs and with the release of Kayle this becomes a necessary addition to the game. Building multiple AS items early on adc feels horrible since you won’t be buying damage , and if you decided to build you will have low AS which just sucks.
I’m interested to hear your takes on this
External link →They didn't add them so champs can have item diversity when picking boots. The AS you would get from greaves are also already embedded in every champs so you basically have AS boots stats + situational boots
Yep yep yep, this is the same for Mpen boots (though we didn't build Mpen into champion's kits) and why we created Infinity Orb as a replacement Mpen item.
Basically we felt those boots stifled choice and this pushes players to get the right boots for each match. Got problems with Veigar? Merc Treads work great against him. Want to zoom around? Swifties are an option.
