Hey all,

Thanks for your feedback on the rollout of the launcher. While obviously some of you are for, and some of you are against it, we'll continue to make improvements on the launcher, and, as issues arise, we'll address them. That said, I am not going to try to make you believe my words when I say I personally enjoy the launcher - I work here, I am sure it sounds like I am toeing the corporate line or something, but honestly, I have personally not had an issue with it, on my home PC, work laptop, or personal laptop, so I'm interested in what has caused the issues that have been mentioned in this thread. Please, if you do install the launcher, and you experience an issue contact our CS team, or drop a thread in Support, and we'll look into it.

I've been around, I started a new account when I started working at WG. I understand why some people may not want this - I worked very closely on this very topic at my last company. I'll ask the questions you've posed regarding Steam migration, I cannot say for certain.

Regarding the installing on c:\, I'll poke around in the morning and figure out why that might be, but I agree with you, I'd prefer to be able to install it on whatever drive I'd like.

I understand launchers, stores, etc, differ from person to person as opinions go, personally, I am not as concerned about how I get into the game as when I get into the game - but that is me.

Above all of this, I ask everyone to remain civil, and not turn this into attacking people, regardless of what side of the fence their opinion about this change is.
