That doesn't work like that. Not every issue can be tracked and dealt with immediately. Plus we have staff ready on the weekend because even without any events some technical or other issues may occur.

We know about this issue and our team is on it. Right now we are investigating why that happened, our first priority is to find the cause and fix it for the future. We will keep you up to date about this.

As I told, for now, we are focused on tracking down the issue. Later, we will let you know if there will be compensation and if it will how exactly players are going to be compensated.

We are still investigating and will comment on that later as well.

That's my fault, didn't notice the topic unless I was tagged in it.

We are actually from St.Pt. office :D And we are doing it since it's easier to bring few people who are already working on the project but from other regions rather than searching for a part-time new community manager in NA. (plus we do it during our working hours, no crunches :D)
And we know exactly what he is talking about, we just are not ready to share any details regarding anything while the issue is still being investigating and we don't want to make assumptions or bring a false hope for any compensations since it still not decided yet.

And about Customer Service you are right, that's the best way to let us know about some big issues like this one.

Yes, it's not the first time I became aware. First time I found out when I came to work on Monday morning local time.
This thread got the response since I was tagged.

The very-very best way is to DM tbh. Because then I will even receive an email notification. But of course, you should DM only for such big and unexpected issues like this one.

As far as I know, it was a global issue, not sure about the start time issue though.

As I told before, on weekdays there is technical staff and for issues like on Sunday which is affecting such big amount of players, they are aware simply by looking at the stats. For weird and unexpected issues you can create a thread and just ping me and others or just DM someone of us.

Everyone is out of the office on the weekend :) So it doesn't really matter, for such cases you can ping me, Fem, Umbaretz, etc.

Nah, you didn't get it. I said there is TECHNICAL STAFF at the weekend. Not community staff. Tech staff doesn't reply on forums, community staff does.

about 5 years ago - Bualar - Direct link

Probably not, we won't. But in some big cases if we are tagged we may reply during the weekend to let you know that we are aware.

Because well, I think you understand. We work the same as almost everyone 5 days a week, etc. And on the weekend I prefer to spend time with my girlfriend or see my friends, not sitting on the forum (I rarely use PC on weekend tbh) :)

You mixing up the technical staff who works 24/7 and community who are talking with players.

In this case we had the unfortunate overlap with a Player Gathering on the event day, typically speaking staff are available when weekend events occur.

Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused by this and hopefully the compensation is suitable in this case.

We are optimistic the same issue will not occur on the 5th of October, and if something does pop up, community staff will be around.

Fem,
