You asked for better MM, it was done, now it will take into account every 20 battle with a specific Tier you play. Such a mechanic is common for many games and it can't work without data (data = played games).

No, he is right. In that article Battle Types = Game Modes. So there is a different track for Random, Co-op etc.
Ehm? If you want normalization for EVERY tier from 1 to 6 (but I don't know why someone with 6+ tier will want to play 1,2,3 tiers...) in EVERY game mode then yes. But for Ranked and Clan Battle there is restriction so you don't need the normalization.
Well, no. If we say some player regularly plays 5-10 tiers in random he needs just 120 battle to fully calibrate tiers from 5 to 10.
As I said earlier, there is a word confusion in the article, Battle Types = Game Mode.
To clarify even more.
To calibrate one single Tier (i.e. T5) in Random Battles. You need to play 20 games on ANY T7 ship or ships. You can play 5 games on Mutsuki, 5 games on Emerald and 10 games on König.
Read "Type" as "Game Mode". MM doesn't care about Domination and else, only about Random or Co-Op.
That's just my opinion ofc. For me only T6+ are fun.
