Heyo Captains,

Despite the USS Texas preparing for her move and repairs, we have confirmed with the Ship and her staff that event is still scheduled and planned to proceed as intended on the 26th of October.

If there are any updates or changes to this we will let you know.

Heyo!

I fixed this this morning!

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

The cost of the event is to pay for admission to the ship and a little extra for helping us cover the cost of swag. That being said, the ship doesn't charge admission for small children, so as long as you are in understanding that we cannot provide additional tickets for our giveaway and swag to accommodate them, you would be fine without having to purchase additional tickets.

Can't wait to see you there!

We spoke to the USS Texas just a few days ago after being worried about the recent flooding conditions in the Houston area. They are reporting the conditions are not as bad as the press is making it out to seem, and that they are still looking forward to us hosting the event.

The show will go on, folks!

Unfortunately, we won't be able to sell tickets at the gate, therefore you will have to pre-purchase your ticket through the Eventbrite link before the event.

Considering that we have also sold out almost every event we have gone to for this tour, it's also good practice for peace of mind to get them as soon as you can to make sure you will be able to attend since limited tickets are available.

Absolutely! We've had tons of families join us for our previous events on this tour, and they make for great additional helpers in finding the epic hunt cards 😉

We look forward to seeing you all there soon!

Filling in the username field is completely optional. It's not a requirement, and it doesn't affect the event or the swag you receive in anyway. It's just our way of recognizing who's attending :)

Hey Captains, Karma reporting for duty here!

I just wanted to give you all a heads up that we are expecting tickets to become sold out here within the next couple of days at the rate that they are being purchased. If you are thinking about attending, we highly encourage you to get your tickets as soon as possible before they are all gone.

Looking forward to meeting you all at the event and of course having the opportunity to visit Texas before she is sent off to dry dock for repairs.

Hey guys, we added 50 more tickets for sale. Grab one before they are also gone!

You should be able to select multiple tickets of each type via the drop-down menu as shown above.

Hey Captains, I just wanted to tag you in case you didn't see that we have gotten the approval to increase the ticket limit for this event.

Hope to see you there next week!

Heyo Captains,

Just a heads up on a few things;

This event is officially SOLD OUT!

We have also amended the schedule to allow some more time with staff on board the ship given the large number of players we are expecting:

Unfortunately, we are at the extreme limit of our capacity.

We will not be releasing any more tickets.

Hey Captain, I apologize you weren't able to purchase your tickets in time. Unfortunately, this event was highly sought after given the limited nature of accessing the ship in its current state. The Eventbrite page where the tickets are purchased on showed exactly how many tickets were remaining at all times. Unfortunately with all ship events because there is limited space to handle such large crowds of people, there will always be a limit on how many tickets are available. We actually had sold out several weeks ago, and the ship allowed us to increase the cap of tickets as noted in some of the earlier posts here in the forums.

But you do bring a good point that we should emphasize the limit on tickets for future events as it might not be as obvious to other people. If you aren't able to get tickets to this event from others, we still have another event happening later this year also in Texas that we would encourage you to join us for!

Don’t worry about it :) we’ll get you covered at the event.

Hey Captains! Thank you so much for joining us this weekend to make the last event on the USS Texas while she is in La Porte, a memorable one. (The staff actually told me that they would no longer be hosting private events after ours)

As promised, here are several photos I took during the event:

As a reminder in case you are local and don't mind the drive, we also have two other events coming up that we would love to have you join us again for:

Fair winds, and following seas!
