Aloha,

FYSA, I do read all of these, but I also know there is not much I can or would say that will sway most opinions on this matter. So I just take in the feedback and forward them up.

When it comes to events we HAVE to build them to the masses so that they are challenging to everyone, some will find them super difficult, others will breeze through them. Unfortunately, this is the way in gaming in general.

If you are getting especially frustrated and need to take a break, that is your choice and TBH I would rather people take breaks than to be overly stressed or upset about the game.

So the thing is this, and I have delved deep into a lot of the reasoning behind how our missions are laid out and what you need to do in order to accomplish these.

In order to keep PvP mains from just farming everything in Coop, which is NOT the goal of any of our missions or campaigns we have to set the bar high, especially for some of the content that we have in place for these missions that you receive.

Case in point the Twitch 100k event, we were giving away Super Containers if we built that for coop we would have to set the numbers SIGNIFICANTLY higher than they were set. Now, what were the tiers you could do these in? Tier V or higher, for the first two SC's, I mean absolutely no offense by this but tier V is not particularly that difficult and some of you in the PvE community are perfectly capable of getting 20 wins and the BXP required in random at tier V across the time frame that the missions are available. Again these were for Super Containers, that you can get some pretty significant rewards for.

This is also the case for the Swirsky Campaign, as we are giving away an EU Commander for completing this, and the idea was as players play grinding up the line to get a LEGENDARY commander it would be difficult.

Adding coop to those specifically the numbers would have to be SIGNIFICANTLY higher. This would grab the ire of both your community and the PvP community. This is why those missions are built the way they are.

We DO have events and missions and such that both can complete case in point: https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/sales-and-events/anzac-day/

However, a lot of the events if you look that you can complete in Coop, we have significantly lower rewards as well, because we don't want people to just go into Coop and farm. As MANY of you mentioned and saw with past events, and it angered A LOT of you in the PvE community, I know, I gathered the feedback for that.

So in the end, we as a company are stuck between a rock and a hard place, because often the solution to try to appease everyone (which is impossible) will not. And the missions we build that both communities will be able to participate in will end up giving rewards that will not make people that happy either.

TBH, no, they would still farm coop, which is why we would have to do something ridiculous like 5 Random and 50 Coop. Because I can farm out 15 coop battles almost in the time it would take me to play a couple randoms.

This is what I mean that we would have to put the numbers so significantly higher. Remember, we see all the data from all players globally, so we see what we all do when events are going down. Yes there are some that will not want to do things in coop and stick to random, but you're back to the whole, such a small population that it doesn't change the meta much.

And that is what I mean, case in point, in coop I have an almost 99% W/R (granted that is only for almost 300 coop battles) but in random I have a 56% W/R.

SO if a player wants to grind Coop to get something, they usually will especially if they say, well I can play 25 battles and guaranteed will get 98% W/R in half the time of 25 randoms or I can play 5 random and be guaranteed to maybe get half, assuming I get the teams for it... So the numbers would HAVE to be significantly larger.

Either way, I will go back to our planning folks and see what they think. I will tell you however, they probably won't be keen on having two separate mission requirements in effect for one mission though.

TBH with you I HATE (yes thats a strong word) any mission that says, "Do this AND that" but someone up in the tower that creates the missions does this.... though I have fed that feedback up too...
