This topic was moved to off-topic, as it is mostly appearing to be a discussion about historical events than World of Warships overall.

Thank you for your service and to all those on this thread that are veterans!

I am sorry that you feel offended that we didn't have an event for Memorial Day, but there are so many mission campaigns and other events going on right now I kind of understand why we didn't.

That being said, I don't particularly appreciate you categorizing some of the celebrations we have had in World of Warship and specifically the NA cluster as "little celebrations" We celebrate events like Canada Day or ANZAC day, which are essentially, to the ANZ and Canadian folks like July 4th is to the US. And are pretty significant celebrations. That being said, Memorial day shouldn't be about spending money or trying to tempt someone to "reach for their wallet." But about pausing and remember the folks that gave their lives and served to give us the amazing freedom's we have today, such as being able to say what is on your mind as you did in your OP.
