The post had a clock with your time zone marking the end date. That is the reason. We also talked about it on live stream to remind players. If you can`t make it to the live stream I recommend having the VOD playing like a podcast in the background. That way you get reminders to some of the things going on. We try to cover as much as we can on stream so that no one misses anything.
Oh, I don't think there was much of a reason. I know the discussions was to only keep it up for 2 weeks at first and someone somewhere decided to let it be there longer. I will still send up the feedback for next time but as far as I know there was not a reason. If I find out something I can come back to let yall know. For example I know there are certain resets that happen Monday and for example my Brazil mission I said to last until the 14th and they asked me if it was ok to have it Monday with the other resets so I said yes. It is not impossible to have it in a different day but because the reset kind of works like a mission on the backend it is probably the same reason. To just reset together in the normal day to things reset.
The all commander reset should have gotten all even commanders without a ship. Did that not work for you?

We also talked about it on stream multiple times. I recommend in the future to screenshot your builds that you like and use the all reset as soon as possible so you don`t miss the window. Specially if the reset individual is going on at the same time. That way you can still reset as you test things but at least you get the bulk that you might not even get to out of the way. Also is always a good idea to check the dates and set a reminder.

The stream is just another way. We rely on the customers to read the news to know the end dates. That is why you can do it from in-game, so that you don`t have to leave the game to find out the news.
Even if it was two groups they would both just expect the person to see the date in the same article that they found out that it was going to happen. I do believe for something like this is relevant and I will be letting the team know, because I do agree with you in general that the resets should have the same date.
If the patch notes are not showing up for you hit me up on a DM I will be happy to troubleshoot the issue with you. It should be showing up both on the launcher and in the news page when you click on your name on the top left. You do not need to watch the stream. Streams are just hang outs and additional reminders. We only cover what is already in the news page and in the devblogs.
It is VERY hard for me to get stressed out. I am a gamer and I can relate to the players so I try my best to answer questions to make sure everything is understood.
The account information are stored in the server side. Unless he puts in a request to get rid of the account.
I did ask the devs, still waiting on the reply. I have a call with some people that I might be able to clarify in 15 minutes. There could be technical limitation and if that is the case we will not be able to do it. I am waiting now.
We will keep that in mind.
Correct, it usually is not posted 1 month before but for things like the reset the dates are posted. If that end date is actually the day of the patch that could very.
I am still waiting to see if the devs reply but from my meeting it seems like this is not going to be a possibility. Unfortunately you will need to individually reset from the looks of it. If you reset a line and does not have a way to reset the commander maybe open a ticket to CS. Maybe they will be able to help. I am not sure tho.
